I can't believe it's been over a week since the beautiful wedding of Felicity Dyndor and Neil O'Connell. On Saturday 29th July, I got the sheer pleasure of capturing their day in Brackley. Colour, QPR and those shoes became the biggest talking points of the day. Of course the wedding party looked stunning in their outfits, with hints of blue and a touch of bling to tie everything together.
I've known the Dyndor family for a long time, so being a part of this memorable day was something I had to say yes to.
Arriving at the Dyndor home, I watched in wonder at the family casually getting ready with total calmness flowing through the house. The pre shots where full of love and laughter while we took time in the garden to take family shots before our trip to the church.
Arriving at the church, I was greeted by Neil and members of the party with delight, excitement and, of course, some nerves. This was gone in moments once the beautiful bride took to the stage and made her way down the aisle in those stunning pink Jimmy Choos! Not forgetting Zoe, Felicity's sister, and her glitzy Ted Bakers. These girls know how to rock the heels!
After the vows, we made a start on the group photos; keeping to timings and conscious of the weather, the new Mr and Mrs O'Connell decided to keep group shots to a minimum. Such a great group to capture and so lucky to find this amazing spot behind the church.
After the couples shoot, we made our way to the reception venue and was met with colour and some additional hints of QPR...some would think "maybe they are fans"? The answer to that is a big yes (although I've heard many conversations about players and matches of the years, it still goes over my head).
With the drinks flowing, laughter rippling through the room and one heck of a spread, everyone took to the party scene quickly. Pimms, canapes, wine, band and the fish 'n' chip van (so good!)- I even got to take a fish home for the cats!
There is so much more I could say about the day, but the one thing is clear this was a union that all had been looking forward to.
Congratulations on one of the most perfect couples I've ever met and thank you for letting me capture your day.
